This morning a group of Dallas Clergy continud a weekly vigil outside of the Dallas Ice offices.

We’ll also talk about refugee resettlement and Trump’s decision to welcome White South Africans, but keep out all others. One friend has called this “performative racism.”

My friend, and the former pastor of my current church, Wes Magruder, has worked with refugee resettlement for fifteen years, and has a good perspective:

It happened again this afternoon, on a fairly routine bike ride around White Rock Lake, in Dallas. Minutes in, I was both peddling hard, and also falling into chest-heaving tears.
